About Loft Learn
Founded by Luke Grange
Founded by Luke Grange, former Global Knowledge Manager at IDP Education and Australian-based education and technology specialist with over 20 years of experience.
Luke has spent his career working at the intersection of education and technology, helping international students navigate some of the most significant decisions of their lives. He has built a deep understanding of how education systems, entry requirements, scholarship landscapes, post-study work rights, and career outcomes differ across the world's major study destinations.
Before founding Loft Learn, Luke held senior roles at IDP Education — one of the largest international student placement organisations in the world. He worked closely with students from across Asia and beyond, helping them find pathways to quality education abroad. That experience gave him a clear view of a gap that most students never see: the advice they receive is often shaped by where an agent has expertise and partnerships, not by what is genuinely the best fit for the individual student.
Loft Learn was built to change that. By providing genuine multi-destination guidance across five major study countries, Loft Learn gives students the complete, honest picture they need to make the right choice for their goals, their budget, and their future.
The multi-destination difference
Most education agents specialise in a single country. If you visit an agent who focuses on Australia, you will almost always be guided towards Australia. If you visit one who focuses on Canada, Canada will come up as the right answer. This is not necessarily dishonest — it simply reflects how the industry works. Agents develop expertise in the markets they serve, and they earn commissions based on the placements they make.
The result for students is advice that is often incomplete. You might be told about strong career pathways in one destination without hearing about better scholarship options in another, or the shorter degree programs available somewhere else entirely, or the visa pathway that better suits your long-term plans.
Loft Learn was built to close that gap. By advising across five destinations — Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, and New Zealand — we provide a genuine comparison covering courses, entry requirements, costs, post-study work rights, and long-term outcomes. You get the full picture before you commit to a path.
This approach takes more expertise and more effort. But we believe students deserve nothing less than complete, honest advice on one of the most important decisions they will ever make.
What we stand for
Honest Advice
We put your best outcome first. If one destination is a stronger fit for your goals and circumstances, we will tell you — even if it is harder for us to arrange. Your trust matters more than any single outcome.
Student First
Our guidance is completely free to students. We are paid by education institutions when students successfully enrol — this is standard practice in international education, and it means you never pay for our advice or support.
Access to Education
We believe that quality guidance on international education should be available to any student who is serious about their future. Access to good advice should not depend on where you live or who you know.
